Just an observation to share: since working on our budget and talking about money and trying to find our bottom line. We have NOT been short for payroll in 1.5 months, and the next 3 pay periods (1.5 months) are looking GREAT!!!! (And that even includes paying $15,000 one time cost for construction we had done back in August!!) It has helped us so much to tackle the vague perceptions we had and start learning how to monitor our money. I expect this new phenomena to continue and get us AHEAD even for our next school year. ďThe daily huddle meeting has completely changed the attitudes of our staff. Itís hard to believe this is the same group of people from before we started. Kevin, one of our staff was dramatically opposed to the idea of another meeting, but has since found the meetings so valuable and productive that he brings a pad with his roads blocks to every meeting. He knows that by bringing the road blocks up each morning he will have an answer and who will be providing it.
