The Automotive Testing Expo is back between October 25th-27th 2022, and is North America’s leading expo for every aspect of automotive testing, development, and validation technologies.

AB Dynamics is exhibiting at booth 5016, alongside sister companies DRI and rFpro. Together we will be showcasing our latest LaunchPad VRU platforms, pedestrian and motorcycle soft targets, and simulation software. DRI will showcase their Human Factors group and testing services at the expanding Bakersfield, California testing facility.

In addition to exhibiting at the expo, we will also be hosting a Technology Open House on October 26th at our Wixom office, which is just a 7-minute drive from the expo venue. The open house will provide a unique opportunity for behind-the-scenes access to the AB Dynamics team and some of the latest AB Dynamics technology all under one roof, including:

  • The aVDS static driving simulator featuring the latest rFpro simulation environment
  • LaunchPad, running a Euro NCAP test utilizing the new pedestrian and motorcycle soft targets from DRI
  • Robot calibration and support area
  • DRI human factors group interactive study

On AB Dynamics’ activities during the Automotive Testing Expo week, US Managing Director Mike McPike commented: “We are excited to connect with our customer base at the expo and to host technology events such as our open house. Customer input will determine the direction AB Dynamics takes moving forward. It’s also great to have DRI’s human factors group supporting us this year. Driver interaction with ADAS and autonomous technology is a growing focus in the industry. Their knowledge and expertise really complement what we do at AB Dynamics.”
