SR60 Orbit Steering Robot launched

23.05.2013

The SR60-Orbit Steering Robot is designed to be mounted either behind or in front of a standard vehicle steering wheel. It is suitable for legislative tests such as the Fishhook and sine dwell manoeuvres. The SR60-Orbit can be quickly and easily installed in most vehicles without requiring the airbag to be removed or disabled.

Note: The SR60-Orbit is a geared design which inherently has higher friction and inertia than ABD's direct drive actuators. Customers requiring accurate torque measurement and very high fidelity of control should consider ABD's existing SR60 and SR60-Torus designs.
